Massimo Donà is a Musician and Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy at Milan’s San Raffaele University. After graduating in 1981 at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy at the University of Venice Massimo Donà began publishing a variety of essays and articles for magazines and collections of writings. Throughout the 1980’s he took part in several conferences and seminars all over Italy. Since the end of the 1980’s he has worked with Massimo Cacciari at Venice’s IUAV (Cattedra di Estetica) and has coordinated the seminars of the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies in Venice. Since the end of the 1980’s he has also worked and collaborated with the architecture magazine “Anfione-Zeto”. He still writes its THEOREIN column. During those same years he founded, along with Massimo Cacciari and Romano Gasparotti, the magazine PARADOSSO. He taught Aesthetics in the 1990’s at Venice’s Academy of Fine Arts until he was nominated Professor of Theoretics at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University Vita-Salute at San Raffaele in Milan. He has written many essays and articles for a wide range of magazines, weeklies and daily newspapers.
