Biography

Moshe Ma’oz was born in Tel Aviv in 1935. He is Emeritus in History of the Middle East, since 2003, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He won the Landau Prize in 1987 and The Tzetzik Prize in 1996. His resarch is focused on Jewish – Muslim relations in last 60 years and on Muslim attitudes towards Jews, Zionists and Israel.
