Biography

Roberta De Monticelli was born in Pavia and studied in the Universities of Pisa, Munich, Zurich and Oxford. In 1981-82, she was researcher at the Univeristy of Pisa and from 1982 to 1988 at the University of Milan. Since 1980 to 2004 she teached Modern and Contemporary Philosophy at the University of Genevra, where she led the Departement since 1990 to 1994. In the last years, her research is focused on moral and political problems.
