Giovanni Filoramo is one of the most important scholar of History of Christianity. Since 1975, he teaches at the University of Turin and in 2000 he became research director at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in Paris. His studies are focused on eretical movements, prophetical and ecstatic aspects  and other less known features of Christian religion. He published several books and articles in many international reviews.
