Biography

Prof. Appel Kurt was born in 1968 in Tulln. He teaches Foundamental Theology at University of Vienna and is following professor at Facoltà Teologia dell’Emilia Romagna (Italy). Since 2010, he is Director of the research center, “Religion and Transformation in Contemporary European Society” at Vienna University. His studies are focused on contemporary theology and philosophy, with a particolary attention to german thought. Prof. Kurt is speaker o the research platform www.religionandtransformation.at
