Mons. Pier Francesco Fumagalli was born in Luino, Italy in 1948. In 1978, he was
ordained priest for Milan diocese. Since 1986 to 1993, he was secretary of  the
Catholic Church Commission for Jewish relation.  He is Dottore Ordinario at
Biblioteca Pinacoteca Accademia Ambrosiana and teaches Chinese Culture at
Università Cattolica of Brescia (Italy). He published several studies on
jewish, arabic and chinese texts and other books on inter-religious dialogue.
